Terms & Conditions

1. Membership and Auditions

Beginners' Call Cymru is an audition-only youth theatre group.

  • Auditioning does not guarantee entry

  • New applicants may be:

    • Refused entry, or

    • Placed on a waiting list

  • Decisions are made at the discretion of the Beginners' Call Cymru team

We are committed to maintaining a supportive, welcoming, and drama-free environment.
Unkind or inappropriate behaviour from members or parents will not be tolerated and may result in the young person being removed from the group immediately.

Ticket Sales

We sell tickets through:

  • Partner theatres

  • TicketSource

  • Directly through Beginners' Call Cymru (for selected events)

a. Theatre ticket sales

For tickets purchased via a theatre:

  • The theatre’s own Terms & Conditions apply

  • Any enquiries or issues must be directed to the theatre directly

b. Beginners' Call Cymru ticket sales

For tickets sold directly by us:

  • In the event of a cancellation, tickets will be refunded

  • If an alternative date is arranged, tickets may be transferred instead of refunded​.​

3. Changes to Performances

We reserve the right to make changes where necessary, including:

  • Cast

  • Venue

  • Performance times

We will always aim to notify audiences of any significant changes.

4. Audience Conduct

We want all attendees to enjoy our performances in a safe and respectful environment.

  • Disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated

  • Abuse towards staff, volunteers, or other audience members will not be tolerated

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove individuals where necessary.

5. Late Entry

Late entry may be refused at the discretion of the theatre to avoid disruption to the performance.

6. Children and Young People

  • Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all events

  • All young people under the age of 18 require parental permission to attend and travel arrangements both to and from rehearsals/shows are the responsibility of the parent/carer

7. Use of Content

Our content (including promotional materials, photos, and posts):

  • May be shared on social media

  • Must not be altered or used for commercial purposes without permission

​

8. Be Kind

Here at Beginners' Call Cymru we believe that kindness is so important and believe that there is room for everyone to thrive and succeed. We encourage out members to be a part of other youth groups or projects if they wish
